AQA recently issued guidance about the topics that will be included, and excluded, for this year’s GCSE papers (available here). I’ve gone through AQA’s document and mapped the physics topics for Trilogy to revision resources provided by BBC Bitesize: the links are on a dedicate webpage, at https://start.me/p/2px9qe/aqa-trilogy-revision-summer-2022 (see screen-grab below).

This page is not “everything you need to know”. Life isn’t that easy!

The links on the index page, which are grouped by paper and tier separately, are the best content that I can find on BBC Bitesize to help you revise for this summer’s examinations. A couple of items don’t seem to be covered on Bitesize so I’ve written recent posts here on physbang to fill those gaps: they are listed in the small panel in the top-right corner of the index page.

Just a couple of words of further explanation;

  • if the link includes the comment (all pages) then you should go through all the numbered section tabs on the landing page
  • if there is a comment referring to specific pages then, obviously, those are the ones to read
  • if there is no mention of different pages, everything should be on the landing page
  • BBC Bitesize also has quizzes in each section: these provide useful learning checks

Remember that for effective revision, you need to take short, regular breaks. Make sure that you get up and do something different but then come back and go on to the next link.
