For those of you who want to explore the medical uses of radioactivity in a bit more detail, I’ve found a great list of radioisotopes that are used in medical applications. It comes from the back pages of Introduction to Radiation Protection by Claus Grupen (Springer, 2010) and has been made freely available by CERN.
